Reflection

I attended a funeral today for a lady at work who lost the battle to breast cancer. She was vibrant, hard working, a ray of sunshine and loved her job and family. I have attended quite a few funerals in the past year and this one hit home a little more. I think because I knew her and watched the process from when the cancer began to the end. Also the people that were there I knew well. It reminded me a bit of my sister's funeral particularly the viewing. I shed some tears today. I am truly grateful for the knowledge that I have and for my faith. May we all treasure the time we have with one another while on this earth and love life no matter what it throws at us.
